The annual Fall gathering of the Friends of the Food Allergy Center of Children’s Medical Center was held in the Pecan Room at Old Parkland on Wednesday evening. Dr. Drew Bird talked about cutting-edge clinical research and quality care. Third grader, Jack Quinn, entertained the group with his fondest memories at the Food Allergy Summer Camp – five days of summer fun that kids with food allergies can attend without fear that they will have an allergic reaction to the food they eat. Now in its fourth year, it was the nation’s first overnight camp for children with food allergies.
