While summer is still in full swing, we’re gearing up for a Fall of exciting fundraisers and events.  The 25th Annual Children Helping Children Junior Singles Tennis Tournament will be held September 26-27 at High Point Tennis Center in Plano.  In addition, this year marks the 2nd annual Men’s and Women’s “King and Queen of the Court” tournament on Monday, September 7, also at High Point Tennis Center.

The Tournaments were started by Pam and Ken Sumrow to honor their son Clint who was diagnosed at age 5 and treated for cancer at Children’s.  Today, Clint is a UT grad, married and active in the tennis community.  The September activities help show young athletes how they can help make a difference while inspiring their competitive spirit to play a great game. This events support the Pauline Allen Gill Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s Medical Center.  A world-class pediatric treatment center, it is  recognized for exceptional clinical care, academic excellence, and leadership in research for pediatric cancer.

Please login to http://give.childrens.com/tennis to enter to play and fundraise, or share this info with a youth or adult tennis player that may have interest in participating.  The deadline for registration is September 13th 2015; come out and enjoy the activities while knowing that your support is helping to save lives.
